Are you planning an ocean themed week at home or school? Then this purple octopus and the paper plate blue whale in my last post may be exactly what you are looking for.
I don’t know what it is, but I have always been so mesmerized by octopuses and jelly fish. When we go to the aquarium, I could spend hours watching the jelly fish. In fact, my husband has come close to having to drag me from the tank. I love how cute these purple octopuses turned out.
For this craft you will need: 4 inch Styrofoam ball, purple paint, foam paint brush, 2 googly eyes, 4 purple pipe cleaners each cut into 2 pieces.
First, paint the Styrofoam ball with purple paint and let dry.
Once the purple paint is dry, push the purple pipe cleaners into the bottom of the Styrofoam ball.
Finally, glue on the eyes using white school glue.
That’s it! In just three easy steps your purple octopus is complete!
- Paint the Styrofoam ball purple and let dry.
- Once the Styrofoam ball is dry, push the purple pipe cleaners into the bottom of the Styrofoam ball.
- Glue on the googly eyes using white school glue and allow to dry.
