I love coleslaw. So much that I may have eaten it for breakfast a time or two. This is a judgement free zone, right? I don’t love just any coleslaw. It has to be this Easy Creamy Coleslaw that my mother-in-law introduced me too. So, I guess you could say I’m pretty picky when it comes to my slaw! There is a fried chicken place just to the south of us that people drive miles and miles around to visit, and this slaw tastes very similar to theirs! Fried chicken and cole slaw…yumm-O!
This Easy Creamy Coleslaw only has two ingredients…three if you prefer to stir in a bit of pepper…but that’s it. Only two. And it seriously only takes 5 minutes to prepare!
The two magic ingredients? One head of cabbage and….
Easy Creamy Coleslaw
Chop the cabbage into small wedges. Place in food processor and chop until coarse . Add to a large bowl, then add the Marzetti slaw dressing. I usually add half the bottle, maybe a cup, then add more until I reach the desired amount. You really can’t mess this recipe up. Super simple. Add in some black pepper if you prefer and done!
This slaw would be perfect to take to a backyard BBQ this summer. And now I want a cheeseburger!
Or maybe some good ole fried chicken.
- 1 head of cabbage
- 16 oz. Marzetti Original Slaw Dressing
- Black pepper (optional)
- Cut the cabbage into small wedges. Place in food processor and chop until coarsely chopped.
- Place in bowl then pour in 1 CupMarzetti's original slaw dressing.
- Stir to combine. Gradually add more dressing to reach desired consistency.
- Stir in black pepper. (optional)
