Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 celery stalks chopped
  • 4 carrots peeled and sliced
  • 4 potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 Cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons minute Tapioca
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Place stew meat in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  • Top with onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes.
  • In a bowl, mix together tomato juice, Tapioca, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour over meat and vegetables.
  • Cook on low for 8-9 hours.
