Banana Salad

  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons heaping flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar + enough water to equal 1/2 cup liquid
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 8 oz. cool whip
  • Bananas sliced (as many or as few as you would like)


  • Combine the egg, sugar, flour, salt, and vinegar/water mixture. Cook over medium/high heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
  • Allow mixture to cool.
  • Fold in Cool Whip, then stir in sliced bananas right before serving.
