Place potatoes in a greased 2 quart baking dish. Toss with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Add a little bit of water to the bottom of the pan. About 1/4 Cup.
Cover and bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until fork tender. If cooking over a fire, make sure the dish can be used over an open fire(I usually use a foil pan) and bake over medium heat for 30 -35 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender.
Once potatoes are fork tender, stir in the bacon, cheese, and ranch.
Cover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
