Snickerdoodle Banana Bred

Beat together the butter, milk, and sugar until well mixed. Add eggs and bananas and mix well. Next, add the flour baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt and mix just until blended. Pour the mixture evenly into prepared pans and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Remove from oven and carefully run a knife around the edges of the loaves and turn over onto kitchen towels and allow to cool.

Topping:

  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9-inch loaf pans making sure to get the sides of the pan as well.
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle generously in the loaf pans making sure to coat the sides and bottoms of the pans. Reserve some of the mixture for the top of the loaves.
